I just bought the exact 1984 Grand National I sat in as a 6yr old kid that started my car addiction. 30 years later a close friend and car addict also decided he was going to sell his 1984 Grand National (that I never knew he had.) He bought it from the local Buick dealer near me. He posted pics and I called him for info. I knew the background as the local dealership that had closed long ago. He confirmed it was that same dealership and exact car I remembered. The owner of the dealership was a close friend and he kept it stored inside since 1988!!! The car is perfect in every way except it hasn't been started since it was parked 27 years ago.
I am looking to speak to a very knowledgeable turbo Buick owner or mechanic to get a protocol to getting this fired up correctly. I don't want to take any chances on damaging her. Any and all advice is very much appreciated.
