No rust ever 1984 white Monte SS with 1987 GN drivetrain. Bench seats, column shift, no t-tops, no air. Just had Cometic gaskets installed. TA-60 John Craig turbo, 206-206 cam, THDP, Stainless ATR 2 1/2" exhaust, Var. fuel reg., Reds XP pump, Reds Boost-a pump, Reds 93 chip and Turbotweek 93 chip, 009 injectors. H&R Patrs and Stuff mount. New Eaton posi in rebuilt 8.5 GN rear. Air bag, shift kit in tranny. Easy mid 12's with 93 gas, has run low 11's with slicks and racing fuel. This is an extreemly well cared for Monte in excellent shape that is lighter than a GN. No door dings ever, original paint. I did this conversion approx. 11 years ago using an 18,000 mile GN drivetrain. Motor had a refresh approx 6000 miles ago with new rings and bearings. ARP studs on mains and heads. Asking $9,900.00. Would make a great drag car as it is light weight with no options other than power stearing and brakes.
