9.66 @144 is the best so far only had it to the track twice. Lazy 1.5x 60'. 17lbs of boost Never reved over 5400rpm!

(Will add pictures soon, exceeded my bandwidth on photobucket for the month)

Thanks.

Hoping to turn it up to the 24-25psi range. Last run of the night I actually lost MPH going from 17 to 18.5lbs. Timing dropped from 17 to 15 at that point so that may be part of it. Pulled all the plugs yesterday and everything looks great so I don't think it was detonating. My exhaust setup may be holding me back a bit as well. Running a 4” downpipe to a 2.5” glass pack with a 60mm WG as a cutout. Can’t even hear the thing at half track.

Popped the gate off and put a turn down in its place. Gained 1.5psi on the upper rpms reved it to 6k on low gear this time. Also firmed up the suspension in the back and launched at 7psi. Worked great still not horribly loud either. Went 9.4 @ 147!

Went 9.44 @ 148 with a lazy 1.50 60'. That was at the WG spring limit of 20psi. Gunning for that 150 trap speed! I think the 60's are horrible becaue the slicks are old as dirt. Can't even roll into it at 60 without blowing the tires off around 17lbs on the street.

Also got it by the scales and it's not as light as you'd think! 2840 with me in it and 6 gallons of fuel. Puts it around 700 to the wheels!

New drag radials installed (yes i know one was installed backwards, it's since been fixed)

Bought a cheapo 14" harbor junk chop saw. I love this thing! Makes a mess but I did all the cutting outside the shop. Made a new 4" dump pipe with it. It turned out great. The new dump gave me no MPH gains at 20lbs of boost over my old oddball setup. Sounds cool thou..

Drove it out to the track tonight with the new tires and exhaust. Went a new best 9.35 @ 147. Drag radials work great. 1.44 60'. Much more stable up top and driving around town. Was guessing at boost level, drove to the track at 13lbs gave it a half turn and boost was dead set at 20lbs. Right where it was before the new boost controller.

Only got 2 runs, my window jumped out of the track. Of course I thought it would look cool to pop rivet the door skin covers on. Couldn't' get the window rolled up to make another pass. Still cruises 70 (phone GPS) at around 2500rpm. Through the traps around 5600. 10:5 to 10:1 AFR 17* timing.

Got some new Tint as well.... Can't see the fuel cell and cage from the back now.

Push rods or connecting rods? Pushrods aren't stressed much at all, cross the finish line around 5700rpm... :)

Nice ride!
Have you checked system back psi?
I'm asking, as I have the same BW turbo, but w/ the 1.25 hsg, and a straight out, 4" DP and muff. Not running yet. Just curious.

I did actually, with my crappy "T merge" I'm seeing 1.3:1 - 1.4:1 or so at 20psi. I don't have the backpressure sending unit plugged into the AEM to log the data at the moment. Just a $15 Ebay special oil pressure gauge. Its the small one on the top.

I'm having trouble getting the cheapo china sending unit output information to set it up properly on the AEM EMS. I'll post up some data once I get it all plugged in.

New best for the last race of the season. 9.04 @151! :drive:

Only got 3 T/O runs in. Spun the first time, blew the IC pipes the second. Last run was sooo close to 8's. I'm sure 25lbs would have got me there.

This was 23.8 lbs 15* of timing. 12lb launch.

Maybe not Et wise... but he was still 13 mph faster! That thing made some power! And was lighter than mine as well.
