Should I have to turn in my GN for having a bit of a soft spot for a slow old Pontiac that gets no respect?
It's nothing I'd ever give up the GN for, but at times I've thought one of these old Pontiacs might be a fun project. They are stone cold slow for sure, but how about one with a heart transplant like an LS1? I've never seen it done, but someone has probably done it. To my eye as these cars have aged the distinct "cheesy" factor has almost become kind of cool in a world of boring cars shaped like a bar of soap. All it's missing is some performance. An LS1 could fix that problem. Not to mention that everyone in town would probably get a good laugh until they tried to race you.
Can you tell there is a certain movie I just watched tonight?
