17" x 9.5" rears - how much backspacing?

I'm about to buy some Centerline 17x9.5 wheels and want to be sure about backspacing. I'm putting the new M&H Drag Radials on (275/50-17) which are 28" tall and about 10" wide.

Would 4.75" B/S be ok or should I adjust that? I can custom order the back space dimension so I've got leeway. I know 4" works great on a 15x8" rim so I figured if I split the middle on the bigger rims.

Your thoughts?

4.75 should work great. I ran 285/40/17 nittos on mine with no issues.

I run 4.5" backspacing on my 17 x 9.5 Centerlines.

Thanks guys. I was really torn about stepping up to a 9.5" rim versus staying with an 8" wide but I want to have the ability to go wider on tires down the road.

I think I'm going to order them with 4.75" backspacing given the responses.

Did you have to roll the fenders? I would like to avoid that. I've been running 275/60-15's (Nitto DR's) on 15x8 rims and wanted to go to the 17" rim for the look. I had absolutely no clearance problem with 4" of b/s on the rims I have.
