Just a little something. I purchased gnx 142
Some time ago and after some hard work finally
Got the original jacket and numbered book back with
The car. I just thought it was a good story.

I bought the car four years ago and was watching this site for some time before. After I found the car I wanted
A clean low mile car with tons of paperwork but had no jacket or numbered book. Soon after I received a message from
Someone claiming to be the original owner of the car. He told me his name and I searched the boxes and found the bill of sale and
Temp tag with his name on it and gave me some history on the car he also told me he had the jacket , number book and more paperwork and posters from his trip to The factory. He sold the car with 75 miles on it the a man who only trailored the car to shows and i have tropies to them all. The car now has 234 miles and jacket and number book are together again.
Ps I paid a bunch but I think it was worth it.

WOW, that's a cool story! Can you post up some pics of it?
Enjoy the car and when you tire of it let me know!

Post some pictures sounds awesome!
I have my jacket as well , although they are not
Specific for the car unless they we're embroided
With the number when Molly was offering them
The best part is the chase!

Here's a couple pictures.

Looks like a very nice car, what little I can see of it. Is that stack of tires by it extras?
What rims are they? How many miles did you put on the car? thanks for the pics.

I'll post pictures of the Buick but its stock of course only thing changed
Is head liner. Sun visors are loose but I found tight ones.

I wonder why the bumper filler is so faded with hardly any miles on the car.
There's a vendor on the site that sells some. Headliner was bad?

We'll the car did literally 100s of shows so it did sit in the sun in the Maryland area
And from what I seen cars that never seen the sun have Faded fillers. Does anybody know why
They faded?

Car interior was perfect except headliner and that's
Because it was tailored from show to show sitting in
A hot trailor. I talked to the second owner he owned
And built trailers for a living in Maryland his name was
John.

John sold the car with 221 miles on it and he told me
All them miles was from after the car shows he would drive it down
The track. I have been in contact with all owners and have boxes of
Trophies with the car.

Most impressive GNX, very nice car, but is that your 70 Chevelle? Got a real soft spot for them, my first restoration in high school was a fathom blue one with white stripes, 396 4 speed, sold when I became a dad in 95. My cousin has a 70 ls6 automatic 454ss red with black stripes like the one in the pic. Hell he had a brand new GN in 87 and got me fired up about these too. Anyways beautiful cars, enjoy them, I'm glad just to see the pics! Brings back great memories! Thanks for sharing!

The Chevelle brought back memories also. I sold my black SS
'70,4 speed car in 1975 for $1300. It only had 61k on it!

Really wish I had an extra Buick laying around! Lol.. just saw that its a convertible, very nice! You shouldn't have any problem finding someone looking for a new toy.
