There is a spacer for that application. Two come in a box, one for each wheel. I'm not sure of the P/N though. Alot of guys over here like to run the IROC and GTA rims on their Monte Carlos and Cutlass Supremes. I suspect you may need the same kind of spacer. When I worked at an auto parts...

MAF would be my first guess as well. If you do get an SES light, shut it down and pull a code as fast as possible, don't wanna wind up droppin' money on a MAF if that's not the problem. good luck
