I bought a lt1 mini starter from gm. When my car is hot it cranks over once and struggles . If the car is cold it cranks over no problem. 1) Do these starters need more juice? 2) Are they more prone to becoming heat soaked than stock. 3) Do you need a heat shield or should i rap...

Does anyone have any tips on setting up the timing and fuel so the car will start easier when it's hot? Damn i thought dfi is supposed to be the good stuff to use.

Half throttle or 3/4 throttle the car runs great. At wide open throttle the car knocks heavy. The timing is low . Does anyone know what happens at wide open throttle. Thanks all. :confused:
