I'm running the 700 filter in the stock pan , no spacer needed . Had to shorten the oil transfer tube on the valve body about 1/4 inch on each end . need to prevent the 4th gear pressure switch terminal from grounding out on the filter . Good to go .

Wow . . . In a zip lock bag vb gaskets & all . Creative way of packaging , no doubt . All of the springs etc . Are tagged and labeled . Without a ATSG manual you would be lost without the instructions unless you are a pro builder .

The " BRF " on the Green tag says you have the highly desirable valve body . Another member on this site clued me in about the ID tag being on the wrong side of the transmission . For a while I could not get an answer for this as my transmission has the. Green ID tag on the wrong side...

Sad to say but , OEM stuff is drying up . Some stuff is not even repo' d . Vendors on this forum and board members are your best bet .

I agree with tapping it a little bit . I removed mine with two thick bent copper wires . Not easy . I uttered a lot of 4 letter words . If I ever have to do it again I will get the tool to do it .

They do say the constant pr. vb is rough on the pump and I can see why . It does save the builders butt , however in case of a misajusted TV cable causing a roasted transmision .
