Well, it's been a while since I last posted again. Getting closer. The exhaust system buttoned up. Yep, I even installed catalytic converters. Hopefully it'll keep it toned down for the wife. Sent from my SGH-M919 using Tapatalk

    3800 FWD to RWD?

Thinking about selling it since I picked up the Skylark T type.

    3800 FWD to RWD?

Runs just fine. Been a busy summer so haven't done much wrenching. Did change the decal on the hood a bit. Added red to the R/T letters and silver to the /

    3800 FWD to RWD?

Whether it's a 3800 from a fwd or from the Camaro/Firebird it's a 3800. The mounts from the f body are kinda wide but they do bolt on to any 3800.

    84 Skylark T type

I decided to do this car with the ls4 and stuff. I don't have the time or energy like I used to. Not that the Omega is currently in shambles but it's still going to require hours of bodywork. Besides, I was looking for one of these to start with.

    84 Skylark T type

Just got back from Kansas with it. It's one of those cars I've been casually looking for. Never believing one would ever turn up. A guy posted on the Citations group on Facebook so I jumped at it. Yeah I know it's not turbo or even efi. It's still a real T type. I really would like to get...

Dropped off 2 of the wheels at Keystone. We'll see how they turn out in a couple of days.

Some more cleaning, scrubbing, sanding, paint / undercoating. Still have the passenger side front of the floor to cut out and repair. Have to do that before I put the transmission in. Speaking of the transmission, the shifter was missing the pivot pin and plate which was why it was so sloppy. I...

    Wifes 78 Solar gold TA

This is one of my favorite pictures. Look closely at the hood which was media blasted. You can see the outline of the bird on the hood. Kinda like it was fossilized. I knew it was gonna be tough to sand of which is why I had it blasted. It's kinda cool. Like the Phoenix rising from the ashes it...

I mean the bolt holes for the big through bolt is the holes you need to massage.

I bought the jegs ls swap adapter plates and used original gm small block chevy clamshell mounts. The adapter plates need a little grinding to get the mounts to sit flush against the plate. Not hard, but the bolt holes will have to be elongated a bit and a little massaging to get them to sit...

    Wifes 78 Solar gold TA

Getting ready to finish up the back of the car. I'm waiting on a steel midplate for the T10. Want to make sure it can handle the horsepower. That's a new tank from spectra with the efi pump assembly, just bolt in no modification. Waiting for the new leaf springs.

Hi, it's been a while since I've been on here. I sold my Lesabre a couple years ago. Still working on the 81 Olds Sport Omega but I've been focusing on her Trans am. It's a Y88 Solar gold edition. The original 400 is gone so I'm using an 07 aluminum block 5.3 lc9. I'm sticking with the T10...

The 81 Sport Omega, change in direction. LS4, AWD, F40 6spd.

Picked up the Saab transfer case last weekend. It'll bolt to the 6 speed but I may have to pickup a Saab F40 6 speed for the differential or shell out for a new limited slip carrier (about $1100) that has the splines to couple the transfer case shaft.

The 81 Sport Omega, change in direction. LS4, AWD, F40 6spd.

pretty much, just a couple changes to make. It runs & drives fine & gets 30mpg.

The 81 Sport Omega, change in direction. LS4, AWD, F40 6spd.

I've had the car for almost 5 years & I was going to keep it simple lo-tech low budget buuuttt...... Anyway, after a little discussion & research I've decided to go in a completely ....unique.. direction. fieroguru on ls1tech was doing of coarse his 88 Fiero with the 5.3LS4 from an 06 Impala...

    SC3800 rear drive Charger.

Also might as well show off the Turismo 2.2 while I'm at it. Not too shabby looking for what started out originally as a $150 parts car for the Charger that turned into a decent looking survivor. For 31 years old the mostly original paint isn't looking too bad eh? It was pretty ugly when I...
