    Faded plastic on door panels

I am looking to restore the plastic on the door panels of my TurobT. Has anyone had success spraying the panels and what did you use. I have the light brown interior and can you find a good match for the color? Are there panels available in this color if I decide to replace them?

Please post pics of " Beige Cream " Turbo Regals

Very nice exterior and interior combo. I have a 87T with the light brown metallic exterior as I call it and tan interior. Love the combo. I have had it since 88 and the dash was always darker than the seats, etc. This may have been the only interior in the brown cars as stated earlier, but...

    Floor mats

Where is a good place to find floor mats to fit my 87 T with tan interior. I saw a nice set that said T Type, but are there any out there that say TurboT or any other designation that would work.

Feedback on Traditional Chlorine vs Salt Pools

salt setups I don't have the salt setup in my pool, but I switched to a product called EZ Pool 3 years ago. All I do is put the recommended scoops in each week and run 3" chlorine tablets in the skimmer. It is much less abrasive than a true chlorine setup. I love the stuff and haven't had an...

    Huge Congrats to General Motors!

I was wondering how GM was able to pay back all that money so fast, when their sales were up, but not breaking any records. Wish all my buddies working in the steel mills back home could have got some help from all the imported steel that has basically shut them down. Guess they weren't to big...

    spark plug installation

Gotta agree with the previous 2 replies. Just be patient. I got frustrated the first try, chilled, had a beer and succes, plug installed. Tighten as far as you can by hand to limit socket work.

    ZDDP Car Wrecked

I happened to be standing next to the track when the car started to lose control. The car was hooked up and running strong. He hit the concrete wall went into the other lane and came back and flipped, ended back on its wheels and went across the track again and just kept slamming the guardrail...

    Retiring Soon

I love living in central North Carolina. Close to the mountains and I can get to the beach in 3 hours. There is a 1/8 mile dragstrip 10 minutes from the house and I still get to live in the country. Lots of turbo guys around including Richard Clark whos shop is 15 minutes out the old country...

    Thumbs up to GBODY

Ordered a MAF sensor from Brian late Friday afternoon. Spoke to a very friendly female (sorry I don't remember her name) who took my order. Spoke to Brian who answered my questions and said it tested good and he will stand behind his product. Got a call back in less than an hour with the...

    MAF sensor replacement

Good advice Rick. There was a setup, but it sold. Thanks all for your input. It would be nice to get lucky with a stock MAF, not sure which route I will pursue. Maybe do the LT1 setup and see if someone can improve on the remanufactured units in the future. Thanks

    MAF sensor replacement

My stock MAF sensor just failed. I have read many threads that the remanufactured ones are pretty much garbage. I guess even the ones carrying the AC Delco name are not reliable. I hate that I will probably have to lose the stock look. If I go to the 3" LT1 and translator setup are any mods...

    Who's Coming to the 2010 TurboBuick.com Nationals?

I will be there. I live only about 10 minutes from the strip and about 15 minutes to Richards shop via the good old back roads. Hope to have the 87 T back up and running by then.

    Rear filler problems

I purchased front and rears years ago from a company out of Texas. I belive their name was Musselmens. They were made from ABS plastic and my body shop guy said they had the best fit he has seen compared to other products he used. Good luck
