    What gear ratio for a 9in

    I can get a smokin deal on a currie 9in from a friend of mine but I want to stay as close as possible to stock gearing. I see you can get either a 3.40 or 3.45 for it. Which would be better and why? Thanks for any help.

    Jeep steering shaft question.

    I just picked up the jeep steering shaft for my T Type. Looking at the small end I see some of the splines are gone and a little messed up on others. Is this a problem? Are the splines needed full intact? Any help would be appreciated.

    Does anyone know what company actually makes test pipes and dumps? Reason I ask is I am looking for a 3.5 test pipe. Do not want a dump. Thanks in advance for any help.

    out of the blue knock

    Hope someone can help. Car has been together now for a few hundred miles and everything was fine.     Knock while foot braking?

    I have never had it show up during WOT but I foot braked the car to about 7lbs and let off brake and showed 5.6 on scan master and the third yellow on the casper gauge came on. Any ideas? Running 93 w/dual nozzle alky.

    Fan issue, no power. Please help

    reusing billet mains on new block?

    I had to replace a cracked block and I am moving the billet mains, center two, to the new block. Can the caps be reused even though they were cut for the old block? I did hear mention of welding and grinding down, is this a bad idea or nothing to worry about? Thanks for any advice.
