Last week we were at $2.25, I know, steep for E85. Then it went to $2.55, then $2.74 where it is now. I can still go 35 mile away and get for $2.24, up from $2.04, but still, $0.50 a gallon jump????? I am in Rockford, IL, and the $2.24 is in Freeport, IL.

For those of you who have switched over to E85, any clue on your ACTUAL % of mpg drop? Thanks!

Well, my 94 Fleetwood LT1 has sat for 6 months now with a 3/4tank of summer blend E85. Took around 30 revs of the engine, but in 20F weather, she still started up and idled just fine. Gotta love a well tuned E85 engine! And that engine has 250K miles on it! Untouched!

What sort of cruise timing do you run with E85? I am messing with it right now in my 454 Suburban (gave up for the moment on the 3800 SC) and it was getting in the 9-11 city range with around 30 @ cruise. I just upped it to around 41 @ cruise, it sure seems like it is perkier. Thanks!
