    ISO Oil pan for TTA

I hadn't looked there! The only 20-bolt on their web site is a deep pan though. Looking for a stock one. It was worth a try!

    ISO Oil pan for TTA

Thanks Jicaju. I just haven't been able to find a GN one yet either. I have my stock pan and drain plug but it was cut to clear k-member with girdle. I'm now going tubular and no longer need the clearance.

    ISO Oil pan for TTA

Does anyone know where I can get a new or like new oil pan? I am told the TTA oil pan is the same as 85-87 GN/T-type so it seems like somebody should still make them. The only one I found is the RJC deep pan but worried about clearance. Thanks!

    Custom TTA Part Interest

I may be interested in a set of valve covers. I noticed in the last pic you posted, it almost looks like rivets going around the edge. In the original pics on page 1 of this thread they are smooth. Did you make a design change? Do these seal as good/better than the factory valve covers?

    something other than a k&n?

I'm running an amsoil filter. I think it is better than K&N. Allows good flow of cleaner air.

1989 tta needs restoration last time $3999 firm

Some day when these cars are bringing $100,000 we'll all laugh about the $4,000 restorable TTA that none of us bought. Back in 1972 my dad bought a new corvette and sold his OLD 1964 vette for $1,500. He tried to get a friend to buy the car but his friend said it was WAY too much for that...

    Buick engine builder around Indy

I hauled my Turbo TA all the way down from Upper Michigan to Chris Vaughn in New Ross Indiana. He does really nice work. Not sure if he has time for another project. PM me if interested and I'll get you some info.

86 Grand National GM repair manual

Hmmm. I may have one. Probably won't have time to dig through the pile until this weekend. I have hundreds of GM manuals since we shut down a B-P-G dealership last year. May take a while to sort through. I'll let you know!

    What Tires???

Your problem could be track prep but it could also be suspension related. I know a few of us have used LCA relocation brackets and other aftermarket parts - maybe they help!?! I have never spun my M/T's on the TTA but I've never gotten a 1.53 60ft either...Nice Job!!! I did try bolting my...

Where to mount BOV (blow off valve), post pics of your setup ---

Sorry I don't have any pictures to share but Fast4Ward has done a nice job. Much higher on the up-pipe will hit the hood of a TTA. As Razor said earlier using a blowoff valve on a MAF car like ours can be bad. If your blow off valve releases the air under your hood you are releasing metered...

TTA owners we need your help on a slogan for the TTA meet at Ohio in 2010

Just a thought but if there is already artwork shouldn't the slogan kindof go along with the artwork. If the artwork showed a TTA holding a beer in one tire and tearing the bra off it's nose with the other we should probably go with a party theme. If the artwork shows the TTA eating an (insert...

I almost forgot, I live in Ishpeming MI but the car is currently in Indiana with my engine builder. I think he is slightly northwest of Indianapolis.

23,000 mile TTA with 4.1L stroker

I really don't want to sell my car but I just can't afford to keep going with it. It is a really nice low mile car. Origional Paint is in good condition, interior is good condition, drivetrain/brakes/tires in good condition. We are just completing the engine build. It has a forged stroker...

    TTA Now An Orphan Car

Almost no R&D went into the G8...it is a re-badged holden from Australia. It is ignorance that is killing GM and not the economy. If they would stop and listen to what their dealers/consumers wanted we would have been a stong enough company to weather an economic storm. They killed the...
