    In my opinion you should use a set of adjustables. It is the best way you can be sure of getting the proper preload set.It is what I used with a similiar set-up and have had good luck.

    My guess is one of the harnesses that plug into dash is losse .Try wiggling all conections back there .Its been awhile since I pulled a dash back but I think there should be a ground strap to make sure the dash gets good ground.Good luck

    The sensor won't even go in far enough to contact the pump shaft.It starts to lean to drivers side and upper boss area won't go in bore.Has to be cover or the cam. :mad: I'll guess I'll pull the cover and dry fit the old one and see if it works.What a PIA!! :mad:

    I put on new front timing cover and cam from postons.I go to install the cam sensor and it won't go.I think it is the cover because i already sent one cover back because one oil hole was bored through housing.then when i got this one I had to spend a lot of time to set up the pump...real poor...
