    Magnefine magnetic in-line oil filters

I purchased an entire case of these filters from a local chevy dealer that went out of business. I'm keeping a bunch for myself, and unloading the rest of them to try and recover some of the $$ I paid for the case. I put them up on eBay, I am asking $11.95 plus shipping. Magnefine 3/8"...

Chris - Do these differences make either Chevy or BOP TH350's more desirable than the other?

Difference between BOP and Chevy TH350

Yes, you can use a chevy TH350 in place of a BOP TH350 with just using an adaptor plate. No problems. Just did this on a friend's car... Put a '72 Buick 350 and a chevy TH350 into an '84 Bonneville. Works great!

    Overdoing it on a 200-4r?

My 200-4r is loaded with all of the latest billet goodies, I think my problem is just a worn band or clutches. I'm just looking for a trans that I can thrash behind a nasty big block, and will stand up to it without having to be taken apart and "freshened" every 5k miles. I want 100,000 mile...

    Overdoing it on a 200-4r?

I have a 200-4r in my '71 Skylark, 464ci that was built by a reputable 200-4r builder. The OD is nice, but with my rather heavy right foot, the 597HP/568TQ big block buick seems to be taking its toll on the transmission. It's to the point where I believe the trans could probably stand to be...

Trans question about my towing rig...

I recently purchased a clean '85 chevy pickup 3/4 ton for my towing and daily driving needs. The truck is currently equipped with a 305, 700-R4 (9-84 production), and a 14 bolt semi-floating axle with 3.73's. I've only had it for a week and I'm ready to can the 305. I located a nice...

Problem with locally built TH350.... [LONG!]

I'm posting this for a friend of mine, this isn't buick related but I didn't know where else I could find such a qualified group of tranny people. The trans is a 4WD TH350, in a full time 4wd '79 Blazer K5, 4900 lbs without driver. It had blue plate clutches installed, a heavy duty sprag, new...

Driveline Vibration - Possible worn slip yoke?

Thanks for the reply. The driveshaft I am using is a shortened driveshaft from a '72 4-door skylark. It was shortened, had new spicer U-joints installed, and was re-balanced by a local drivetrain/driveshaft shop. The axle is a chevy 12 bolt from a '69 chevelle, it has the stock posi and...

Driveline Vibration - Possible worn slip yoke?

I have some vibration in my driveline and I have not been able to figure out what it is. I am wondering if possibly a worn slip yoke could be the cause. I get vibration from like 45-55 MPH, then it fades some, then comes back around 70 MPH and gets worse as the speed increases. The...

    Whooped an LT1 or LS1?

I dyno'ed back to back with another new WS6, mine with 3500 miles and his with 650 miles. There was about a 10hp/15lb/ft difference between the two cars. Mine came out (on top) with 320.8RWHP/339.5RWTQ. Not bad for stock!! :D :D 2002 Trans Am WS6 1988 Colt Vista w/4G63 1971 Buick...
