Volt Blaster vs Boost a pump

MommasGN can you provide any additional detail on the changes you saw in your logs going from the volt blaster to a BAP? My thought (right or wrong?) was the BAP advantage was it directly provided the added true clean voltage to the pump and it didn't matter if other things in the car turned on...

Volt Blaster vs Boost a pump

Mr. Spool is there anything I should be concerned with if I go with Boost A Pump instead of just installing a new volt blaster to replace my old failed unit? My pump specification say the pump will provide 680 LPH @ 43.5 PSI @ 13.5 V @ 22.5A but at higher voltage the pump will provide 820 LPH @...

    Kenne Bell boost-a-pump

What size Racetronix pump did you buy? I have the twin 340Es as shown in my sig. That new pump seems to keep up but I have not tested the limits in high boost.

    Kenne Bell boost-a-pump

Toomanymodz, why have you decided to not use the boost a pump? I'm wondering if I should add one to my car since my old volt baster finally failed. Also what size double pumper fuel pump are you running? Your build has similar parts as mine.

Volt Blaster vs Boost a pump

Thanks. When I upgraded the fuel pump to what I have now I also upgraded to the Racetronic bigger wire kit. I also increased the fuel line to the bigger lines too. I don't believe I have a problem with the fuel pump. I was just wondering since my old Volt baster finally failed and instead...

Volt Blaster vs Boost a pump

Recently my original volt blaster decided to stop working and I have been considering buying a new one or switching to a boost a pump.. Does anyone have any thoughts on if one product is better than the other? My original volt blaster worked well for many years but I'm thinking that a boost a...

Local ECN-GN tuners in the Detroit Michigan area

Again thanks. It seems that there are 2 different Racetronic DFPS- G7680 pumps. The DFPS-G7680Q is rated at 680LPH and the DFPS-G7680EQ is rated at 725 LPH. Regardless I hear what you are saying. I should be good just keep an eye on FP, AFR, DC and add all the safety things the ECU-GN has to...

Local ECN-GN tuners in the Detroit Michigan area

Mr. Spool thanks but are you saying that at "37psi on e85 and 120s with a killer pump and high base fuel pressure running a 64 bb turbo" the duty cycle was at 100%? If yes then isn't that similar to what the guys above are saying.? When you mention a "killer pump" what pump is it and what flow...

Local ECN-GN tuners in the Detroit Michigan area

Thanks again. My motor has about 4000 miles on it. I just upgraded to 120 lbs injectors and to a new Racetronic pump last October. I'm not sure if our pumps are the same or different??? All I can hope is that I didn't make a mistake and should of upgraded the pump and injectors even larger...

Local ECN-GN tuners in the Detroit Michigan area

Thanks for the support. Dynoman, your combo has many similar items as mine so thanks for you insight on what I need to do. How are your injector duty cycles at 29 psi? Also how do you like the Racetronic pump? I had to raise the FP to 48 and reduce the hobbs switch to 4 psi to keep up. But...

Local ECN-GN tuners in the Detroit Michigan area

Thanks again for the responses. I can talk to FTS. Mr. Spool who would you recommend I should talk to for remote tuning? Also is remote tuning something that should be considered when tuning E85 when trying to optimize timing? Another question is my goal even achievable at low boost, like...
