I've been running denatured alcohol in my oooooooold SMC kit for about 5 years now.... I add a little Marvel Mystery Oil from time to time to keep the pump lubed. Works like a champ!

I switched to the Taylor Pro "409"s and have had great luck with them... 10.4mm and they seem to be pretty durable. Don't remember the price off hand.. I think $60-ish for a set....

I also have a 3 bolt stock sized (2-1/4") RJC header-turbo gasket... Ordered the wrong one... needed the 2-1/2".... Really nice gasket... MILAM Laminate with a thin stainless core... In case anyone's looking...
