    Rear tires both wearing on the inside??

    Several years ago I had the same problem on an '86. The axle tubes coming out of the housing were angled up and both tires wore as you describe. Short version, nobody knew why, I bought car that way. Had all the guts removed and put in another housing.

    Code 31

    I had the same problem, and replaced the fuse. Drove it about 1 mile and I heard the fuse pop again. Sure enough while accelerating again the light came back on. Sure enough fuse popped again. I will be researching past threads for information on what will cause this to blow. Is there any...

    Alternator rebuild help needed

    I was told my stator and diode were burnt, possibly to a bad battery at one time, and I did have a bad battery several months ago and the original alternator burnt up trying to keep up. I put in a new battery but not in time, and the damage was done. That's what I get for not driving it enough.

    my car is making a wierd noise, help!!!!!

    My guess is also alternator, just had mine rebuilt. I had the smell and the "whine". It finally let go and left me stranded, and in its last moments REALLY smelled bad. Tried to make it home but didn't. Good luck. George

    I just had mine rebuilt for $114.00. The parts listed for this were: 1)Stator 7805-S 2)Diode 5-2219 3)BRG (I don't know) A203-27 4) " A6000XX These parts were from his supplier, not GM. I hope this helps you in some way. George

    TTT GB, I have the same set-up and have wondered the same thing if mine goes out. I will follow what ever input there is. Good luck!
