I'll start here: previous owner had the motor rebuilt by a shop in 2001.
It had sat since 2008, then I rescued it in hopes of being able to fix it up and make it a nice street strip car. I'm 19 years old and wish I could afford it, but I'm overwhelmed with what it would...
try adjusting with an Manual boost controller. If that doesn't change it, something is wrong. If it does, a larger turbo means its more efficent and its a larger area on the same setting as the stock smaller turbo, so that setting or a little change on the waste gate rod won't bump the boost up...
6 to go is there anywhere I can see more pictures of your set up? how the piping is run out of the turbo, etc? I want to go IC but I'm not sure which way I want to do it.

Nice! I can pretty much say I wish I had the newer motor. my problem now is the car had been sitting for a few years and it needs maintenance stuff before performance stuff...What did it run? Can't be much worse then what I think was a 15.49 written on the window of my car when I bought it!
Yeah I understand....My car would not be very impressive. It needs a boost controller, the eaton posi I have for it installed, a converter, intercooled..The list goes on. Do you have a hot air GN or a 86+?
Thanks thats a good point. I didn't even think about that... Thats probably what I'll go with then. I've heard most people do 2800's or 3000's. Like seeing that screen name on this thread though!
