Thank Geoff87 for those kind words. I won a few and lost a few. I treasure my weekends, so I had to make the most of it before Monday rolls around. Made alot of friends, along with bench racing with whoever was in the line. Thanks to Mobil one oil and my electric fan that made all those laps...

I would start going to work on M/T drag radials and up the boost. Just got to watch out for some of the Scubby's out there, can't tell if one is a solid 12 second one or a 14 second car with a novice driver. They all look the same to me.

I prefer the 1/4 mile because most souped-up mopeds could probably take my car by the 1/8th mark.

I also do regret selling my '86 GN and it hits me really hard....... as I realize everyday what I did wrong, as I catch the THE BUS for my daily driver. But on the plus side, I also get to meet all the walks of life, that sit next to me on that cramped afternoon ride home. There's alot of time...

timing chain? Was the motor overhauled and rebuilt? Could it be the timing chain was installed one or two tooth off? Good luck.

This is a guess, but could it be something simple like a dirty or clogged fuel filter? Good luck.

If it was the valve seals it might not be all six of the cylinders oiling up your spark plugs on a consistent basis. Does it smoke when your start it up? Maybe you might try swapping out the turbo with a known good one, it might be the oil seal in the turbo. Hope this helps.

I never heard a motor squeak before, other than a fan belt. But maybe you should try and isolate the problem by taking a compression or a leak down test to determine if you hurt anything on your last pass. Good luck and Hope this helps.

I had good luck with Victor brand from Napa. I believe it's same as the stock composite. Had many run's down the track and been on the motors for 8 years and is still running around today.
