    Kirbans Korner

The Buick dealership is Imke Buick. They still have the GNX and currently have it listed for sale at $125K. The original dealership owner, Len Imke, had a huge car collection until he passed away several years and some of the cars have been liquidated. He also was instrumental in starting the...

    Kirbans Korner

I first became aware of the GN around late 1985. I had a 69 GS Stage1 and a 70 Stage 1 at the time so I was kinda tuned into the Buicks. One of the dealers in Columbus, OH, Sager Buick had an 84 GN on the used car lot. I tried to trade the 69 Stage 1 in on it but they didn't want to give me...

The Numbers Game with the (SPI) Trunk ID Label - Kirban

69Z-28/s did not come with angle port heads. The angle port heads weren't released until 71 or 72. If they are angle port, they are a very desireable set of heads to have, though.

    Problem With Cassette Player

Well, I fixed it, sort of. After I removed the face plate and the radio per your directions, I removed the cassette player from the radio but was still unable to remove the cassette so, I did the next best thing. I replaced the original cassette player, with the player from the spare radio. Now...

    Problem With Cassette Player

Thanks for all the replies regarding removal of the radio face plate. I suspected it was held in by hidden clips or something along that line but didn't want to start prying on it til I knew what to expect. I have a spare radio I picked up years ago from another GM vehicle but I would like to...

    Problem With Cassette Player

Hi all, I just registered on this site although I have visited it several times in the past. I am the original owner of an 86 GN that I bought new. It is a 47K mile stock GN that has not been abused in any way but being as it's now 22 years old, a few minor items need attention. The first...
