If you really want to know when it was ordered and you are willing to part with $50, you may be able to get the original dealer invoice from GM Heritage Center. That will have the order date. No guarantees they have it. Maybe it will make sense of the date you come up with. Here's the link...

I am attempting to get the climate control working in my 85 GN and charging the A/C. Does anyone know where I can download the wiring diagrams for the 85's? There is plenty of info on the 87's but the engine compartment diagrams are not the same, and the climate control on those models is linked...

Thanks Jerryl, I already have the TT chip that is using IAT. I think if you want it to run well in all temps, you should use the IAT sensor. That's a great service Eric is doing at Turbo Tweek. I think he will make changes for you as well for up to a year, not charging the full price. Ya'll...

Sorry for the confusion, but the firing order doesn't change (It's waste spark ignition anyway, each coil fires 2 cylinders one waste) but if you look at the two firing order in the service manual, the coil is in a different position, and the wire position changes. My 85 has the 87 ignition...
