So, i have been having issues with my power locks. Initially the switches did not work. Replaced both power lock switches and new the function. However, now when I try to unlock the door, you can hear the motor function and the lock knobs slightly move but the lock is not engaged. If I hit lock...

I have nothing installed for mounting my turbo heat shield. I have the shield, just need all the brackets/screws needed to mount it.

Yeah, I knew it had to be grounded. It is still installed on the hood so the ground "should" be there but I can recheck that. I may just run a ground wire up to it also just as a test.

Ah, good idea about greasing them. I didn't even try to clean mine just because the appearance of the switches is less than desirable so I opted to replace them.

tested the wire coming from firewall, have 12v. tested wire coming out of disconnect plug and going into light, have 12v. nothing at the light. i am assuming the mercury switch has gone bad preventing light from coming on. so, where can i get this mercury switch hood light?
