I have nothing installed for mounting my turbo heat shield. I have the shield, just need all the brackets/screws needed to mount it.

Yeah, I knew it had to be grounded. It is still installed on the hood so the ground "should" be there but I can recheck that. I may just run a ground wire up to it also just as a test.

Ah, good idea about greasing them. I didn't even try to clean mine just because the appearance of the switches is less than desirable so I opted to replace them.

tested the wire coming from firewall, have 12v. tested wire coming out of disconnect plug and going into light, have 12v. nothing at the light. i am assuming the mercury switch has gone bad preventing light from coming on. so, where can i get this mercury switch hood light?

The spring on the switch was not allowing the switch to make good enough contact with both contacts si the circuit could not be completed. i pulled the switch and tweaked the contacts and spring and reinstalled it and now it works.

I installed this today. Does anyone else have to hit the unlock button twice for it to actually unlock? I hit it once and can here the module "click" but it does not unlock the doors. I hit unlock again and it unlocks both doors.

Awesome. Got the glovebox light fixed. Now just to troubleshoot that hood light. That will be a tomorrow task. Thanks!

I am looking for the power door lock relay. Read that it was behind the ECM but I can not find it. Once I remove the ECM tray there is still a plastic kick panel there. Do I need to remove it somehow to get access to the power door lock relay?
