Never got stung by one but see them often. We call them cow killers too. From what I hear depending in where it gets you it can be pretty bad.

Part of it has to do with the car itself. It was a bit of a mystery to some people back then how they worked. Tales grew taller as time went by. Information wasn't as readily available as it is today. So it just added to the cars mystique.
I was watching Dateline a couple of years ago and they had a reenactment of a drug bust. Lo and behold the undercover FBI agents were portrayed as driving a GN. Thought it was too funny.
Don't know if we'll be renting a spot this year, but then again we say that every year. I'll be bringing the cooking utensils and a burner. Not sure about what to cook yet though.
I've got my vacation scheduled and I'm ready to go. This will be my first trip without a Buick, but I'll be bringing the golf cart and a pile of mardi gras beads.
I don't mind tire kickers at all. I'll answer any questions and have offered to speak on the phone and send pictures. What I don't like is when people are critical and have no intentions of buying. I don't mean my thread specifically but in any for sale thread.
I never really thought too...
Lowered the buy it now on eBay to 8,500. So that's the price here as well. Also willing to help with shipping. Meaning I can deliver the car or meet up midway depending on distance.

Putting the car on eBay tomorrow, if anyone is interested in making an offer before then feel free to do so. Anything reasonable will be considered. I would rather the car remain in our community than go to someone who's going to chop it up and make into something it was never intended to be.
