i have an 86/87 intake man with the top plenum fuel rail and throttle body all stock coated by HPC recently and hasnt been installed onto the car since its an extra how much is this worth if i was going to sell it since i dont need it its like new since the coating makes it look awsome...

i already looked into the intake and one is available for only 280 and i talked with some carb folks and a fi carb will run about 600 and as far as the costs thats all you need with a dist and a new fuel pump other than that its easy it shouldnt take more then a day to take off the factory and...
i was thinking about doing the same thing to my car, taking off the electronics and installing a regular carb single plane intake on it and a distributor and call it a day. it would sure get rid of the headaches with trying to find oe parts as far as sensors etc....

i understand what you are saying about the tools that we have but i dont think it will be that big of problem since x amount of air needs x amount of fuel and so on and they have been doing this on the small blocks for years... gale banks used twins to go all the way up to 700 kits with a blow...

hi all i have a few things that are on my mind due to the fact that i dont have direct experiences with either here is the first one
i see many of the stage 2 guys running a distributor can you tell me why or why not to do that? dont we need the computer to take care of those things please...
