Behives have been known to break on the ls1 motors,but that's with 600 lift cams.

Not real sure who made either ones,but the cylinders are around $50+ new &shipping and the shoes are about the same price.The big cylinders and shoes together will allow you to hold the car back while building boost on the starting line.

Stock ls1 seal have a spring base/locator built into them,aftermarket ls1 seals for dual springs press onto the guide and no locator. dimensions are .500 guide with 8mm stem hole.patriot # is 8414. don't buy comp seals

I haven't seen much luck for painting over chrome,it just doesn't get a good bite to last long.

Is there a timing retarder for the buick?I'm looking to run a small n2o kit and want a retarder to cut timing when on the bottle.

Did you use the 6l altenator?If so how did you wire it to the buick harness.I'm thinking of putting a 6l in my car.
