Wrong time of year to start a rebuild. Unless you don't plan on driving the car for a few months. Nothing about a buick rebuild is quick or cheap.

There is a slot on the rear of the block driver side. Looks like it was intended for a hook. I've never used it though. I use a flat lift hook bolted to back of the head.

Snug up the valve covers a little. A new pair of gaskets would slow those drips down a lot.

Hey Rich. The tubes should fit. The only thing is they need a bigger hole in the rim for the valve stim. Thats why I didn't use them. Didn't want to ream the hole out on my prostars so mounted mine tubeless. I'm comeing to Manteno sat to get racegas so I'll drop them off at your place. I'll loan...

You should use thread sealer on the bolts thats go in to the water jacket.I like teflon paste.
