Anyone have any basic/cheap wheels for sale?

I just got an all original 71 GS. It has the factory 14x6 (or maybe 5"?) steel wheels. It currently has front drums, and the 14" wheels are keeping me from upgrading to the wilwood discs I bought. Does anyone in San Diego or Orange County have any basic "muscle car" type wheels for sale? I...

FS: 1984 Grand National Turbo 6.0 LS Swap 7875 4L80E

Yes I ended up getting quite a bit more than I was asking or initially thought it was worth - definitely the only time that will probably happen in my car buying/selling life

FS: 1984 Grand National Turbo 6.0 LS Swap 7875 4L80E

Thanks for the PMs and questions everyone. The car is now over $20k on ebay with three days to go so I believe I will wait to see how that pans out before pursuing other options.

    Thinking about making the switch

I did it 7 years ago. Stock lq4 and 4l80e. $400 7875. Haven't had a single problem. I don't have anymore interest in the v6 than I have in swapping to a 4 cylinder. The whole swap cost me less than a 3.8/200-4r rebuild. To answer your questions: You should use the stock intake manifold...

Do I need my factory harness?

I tried to backtrack the wires in my harness when doing the swap and keep "what I thought I needed". I ended up not using a single wire, except PCM key on, and starter solenoid trigger from the driver side plug, but it would've been much faster to just run new wires. Definitely avoid using the...

LS iron swap, front spring change needed?

I use the stock 85 Monte Carlo SS springs for a car with the "handling package". Got them through rockauto. The ride is still VERY smooth. See picture for stance. I also have LQ4/4l80 I never post on here, but I finished my swap 7 years ago and probably should've been helping more people.

    "Spotted" section

That's me and my car has been my daily driver or semi-daily for 7 years in SD County, so I wonder how many spottings I account for.
