I have just worked out my powerlogger I think. If anybody could break down what is good and bad on the pics that would be awesome.

List of mods to car.

Manifold ported to match ported heads
Stainless valves speed pro pistons engine bored .20 over stock rods with arp bolts new timing gear with comp cams components
200r4 tranny with 2800 stall
370 rear gear.

Any info would help me tune it as it is running rough and stalls.

The 112 and 109 cells indicate the ECM thinks the car is running rich and pulling fuel.

Start with confirming what chip is in the car, and VERIFY the chip is for the injectors.

Injectors and fuel pressure should be confirmed. Injectors to be clean, and correct fuel pressure setting for the chip.

Morning thanks for the info. As far as I can tell there is no chip in the car. Injectors are stock. I will look into getting a fuel pressure gauge to check the pressure though.

Oh, there's a chip in it, or it wouldn't run. :-p

Pull the access cover off the ECM and snap the chip.Like Jerryl said, it's pulling fuel, and it's pretty much at the limit of its authority to pull any more out. Lots of causes, but start simple. Make sure the chip and injectors are matched and your fuel pressure is OK.

Post a log of the car running...and find a pair of 3.42 gears to replace the 3.70's. Judging from the gear swap, I'd be wondering what else was done. If you're not familiar with these cars, find someone in your area that is to go over the car with a fine tooth comb to find out what you have. Good luck.

Where are you located ?? Lots of smart TB guys all over the US who can help .

The display is showing you are in 4th gear yet you're not even moving. Is the electrical connector unplugged on the side of the transmission? As suggested... get rid of the 3.70 gears and go back to the 3.42's. Record a log with you driving the car and post it so we can get a better idea of what you have going on.

besides the 3-4 gear flags id assume you're in park and thats not flagged so the ecm doesnt know your in park , the switch for that is on the top of steering column down by the pedals , it may need to be adjusted (do you have reverse lights when its in reverse)
as for the 3-4th flags mostlikely the square black plug on driverside of transmission is unplugged ,
it could be that someone put a nonlock converter /trans in there
or the lockup solenoid failed (stuck) and somene disconnected to stop that which causes stall when coming down to 1st gear
or ...you dont have a brf trans ......

I wanted to post that those 3.70 gears are likely the cause of it running rich, but decided not to poke a hornet nest. Lol

One of the new guys had me come over a couple of weeks ago and decipher his car for him. Looks like a time capsule from the 90's with old skool hop up parts. Runs pig rich with the RA chip in it. BLM's are 98 with the new LT1 MAF and Translator. Erics chip should be here any day. It's taken a few bucks just to get it running right. Some of the stuff I've seen boggles the mind.

Thanks for all the input. After a busy work week I got under the car and yes the connection is unplugged on the side of the transmission. I also looked at the chip in the car it is a pitbull hp 137tx-729sdl from 1990. The injectors are stock from the factory and fuel pressure is at 43psi with vaccum line on.

I can't find much on the chip online being old I guess. I have looked into getting a set of 60lbs injectors and chip through turbo tweak. As well as a scanmaster so I can have a better Idea of what is going on without having to have my laptop sitting in the car while I drive.

I am going to try and get a video of the car running so I can post but noticed my alternator bracket is broke so I will repair that first. I didn't have reverse lights when I got the car. Replaced bulbs had them work now my friend tells me I don't have them.

I am located in canada in a place called kamloops B.C. so if there is somebody around that would be awsome as I am very much a rookie with a turbo car as I'm sure you can tell with my questions and posts.

Also what is a good scanmaster to get the round style one or the flat one. I know the round one reads a few more things and you can bluetooth it to your phone which would be nice.

If the round one is the way to go where can you get a a pillar mount gauge pod for it? I looked at autometer they don't seem to have on that fits. As I'm sure alot of you guys have them could you let me know where you got them.

Thanks for any info you guys have been really helpful.

The round one is the Scanmaster-G, and it's a superior product. All the functionality of the original scanmaster, but with bluetooth to stream logging to a phone running ALDLDroid. And if you ever upgrade to an ECUGN standalone, the gauge works with that and you get some extra data out of it. Mine shows flex fuel percentage now as an extra field.

Most Buick Vendors sell an A-Pillar pod that fits the Scanmaster-G, it's just a standard 52mm gauge. Kirban, G-Body parts, Boost Crew, GN1, GNS, just about everybody has a pile of them in stock.

That is too high. The stock regulator was not set that high. If you have a stock regulator, someone has crushed it to raise the pressure. If you have a stock black bodied regulator, what is the gm part number printed on the body. If you have an aftermarket adjustable regulator, lower the pressure to 40 degrees line off and see what that does to the blm numbers.

you will need to pull that chip out of the car,get yourself a tt 5.7 chip cut for the fuel and boost you will be running and get the injectors cleaned or upgraded.

ran that gear in gn rearend years ago in my fathers car.worked great! stock turbo, intercooler, motor, stock injectors, pump gas single nozzle and 11 sec passes on a 27 inch drag radial on the stock rim.

Not exactly off topic, what was the spool up time compared to the 3.42's. There's some physics involved in this, so I'm curious. TIA.

PS-Would it not have buzzed the engine out of its rev range in high gear at the traps. Again, thanks.

I have tried it spool up feels quicker but may not really be moving as fast, you need 28" tires to get through the traps with .373s and a 2004r in 3rd , with 26"/373s you fall short of the traps and hit the rev limit , they did 60' a little better in my application but thats about it and were nice from a 40mph roll, though my best times were with 27" and .342s
