Billet Tensioner

A Dayco 5060640, available from Rock Auto, works perfectly with RJC pulleys and the group buy billet tensioner.

No squeals, no pulling down on the alternator pulley.

Steve do you have any tensioner' left ?

Ray
I have one of these billet tensioners. It has maybe 100 miles on it. I had the pulley anodized black. PM me if you are still looking for one. I'll get pictures this evening.

Mike, put V6sleeper 1st in line. I don't really need one I think. Besides my car is at Richard Clarks as I may have no money left in a month or two when I get the car back.

I don't have any complaints about mine. It's working as it should.

Maybe I did pay too much, but that's between me and my wallet.

Mine is in the box.... My RJC pulley did not directly swap with it as it rubbed, nor did it play nicely with my 140 alternator as well. I'll put it on one day, but at least I have something that will work if I need it.

Why didn't it play nicely w the 140 amp alt?

The case hit the tensioner and would not let it rotate into place to be able to slip bolt thru. I guess I could have clearances it some, but I chose to put my old tensioner back on with 140 amp alt and RJC pulley.

In any case, there are no problems here.

The RJC pulley works like a charm, no squeaks, no whining, no unusual noises at all. No problems with charging, no volt light warning or code kicks. No pulling down on the alternator with some very simple measuring of belts to make it work.

So, how you like me now?:D

Maybe blaming 1980's UAW workers for substandard work and inability to simply line up a pulley and belt combo in a straight line is in order..............

Those dumbasses couldn't even line up a big ol' body on big ol' frame for heck's sake..... And they didn't give damn, either.
