back w/ enough energy to actually spend more than 1 hr a day in my shop!!:D
The Dr, [John Galloway], at Emory Univ hospital definitely saved my "bacon"!! His prognosis w/o intervention was "poor". An unusual rating, according to the nurse on his staff.
Been out for 6 weeks and have gained 13#... Still have poor muscle tone, tho.:(
Dr's are like guys working on cars... Some know WTF is going on, many don't. Same w/ Dr's.

Am now ready to get back into the swing of things,... just 9 mo's behind!!
One issue is, where did I put that part??
I'm updating the inj bench w/ a new filtering system, adding a portable PL and SM system to the diagnostics equipt. EVILIVE is also up to date for the "LS crowd".

Sure feels great to be anxious to get up in the morning!!(y)

Thanks to all for your support during a bad time...;)

Not a good feeling being down. But it sure feels great when your up and at it and feeling like your ol self again.Good for you

So what were your scanmaster #'s at idle with the engine warmed up Chuck?

As you are a charter member of the "Old Farts Club", we need you around as long as possible, so glad you are doing well!

Couldn't be more happy for you, Chuck.....so nice to read great news about you. Life is GREAT, isn't it? And having all these guys on this forum who truly care about you......you are so fortunate. May the Lord always keep watch over you.

Bruce, thanks to you, and all the other members for the support I've received during my foray thru the medical "jungle".(y)
My surgeon, [ Dr John Galloway @ Emory Univ hospital] you guys, and the 3 buddies that went out of their way to be sure I was OK, along w/ my daughter, is the reason I'm typing this. Survival prognosis was rated as poor.
My daughter made 4 trips from Chicago, to "oversee" my treatment. [She's a RN, NP, midwife, and knows her "stuff".] There are several so called nurses that were not happy she was on scene!
Tomorrow is the BIG DAY! Hopefully the CT scan will set me free. Seeing Dr G for the final time. [I hope!]

Doing well Chuck? I just had stent #4 a few weeks ago. 40 yes with type I diabetes takes its toll. I too am back trying to fix the world. Good luck to you.
