Not taking anything away from Jim because that thing is a monster. But I can't help to imagine what Don would bring to the table with 2.17"/1.62", and roughly half the cubes of that beast...
Yes. If I knew then what I know now, I would not have made the heads my restrictor. But heck, back then, I was simply trying to put together a 600-700 bhp street car.

I think I did mention in this thread that this was the third build version of my 'first' Buick V6 project. All the custom metal fabrication work; intake manifold, exhaust mainfold, throttle body, timing cover modifications, nitrous injection nozzles, adapting a Milodon geardrive to a TA block, were my first fabrication attempts at such things.
My first attempts at using straight methanol fuel, nitrous oxide injection, of tuning an ECM and dealing with such a complicated mess of electronics.
My first attempt at chassis modification and setup.
My first attempt at using nitrous oxide paired with methanol, none the less.
My first attempt at using engine analyzing software to come up with a workable high performance engine combination using a particular engine component as the main restriction.
My first attempt at assembling a high performance turbocharged engine.
This car of mine has been my big experiment. Certainly not professionally built by a person that has decades of experience behind him in such things.

Although, I should add, the transmission was professionally built.

I think this is what you're looking for, so here it is:

Now that you have that, maybe you can relax?

I give you props for doing it yourself, just please stop with bragging about how fast it is. Your fabrication and transmission building skills surpass my own, no doubt about it. Your fantasy about your "pressure pulse tuning" and your silly speeches do not impress anyone.

Props for building an 8 second car yourself though. I have never done that.

All this malicious criticism of a fellow who is basically a novice at this stuff.
Comparing my junk to such high dollar, and high talent machinery. I'm amazed.
And honored.

1) The criticism was directed toward someone bragging and lecturing in a self created thread.
2) Your junk is no comparison to the Buick above. The car above is obviously much, much, faster.

And I thought that was why you keep coming back. Shucks. Shows you what I know.

1) I thought all threads were self created.
So people aren't allowed to post their timeslips in this section? I would guess that anyone who posts the performance of their car is bragging,... right? Haven't you and Smoke20 been bragging on your cars in this thread? Not that I mind, but I suppose that's OK to you.

2) Daaah!!! How long did it take you to figure that out?

Don,

Your compared to a guy that owns his own speed shop and gave up on the Buick V6. - not impressed

Your harassed by a mustang guy that refuses to give us an idea of how fast his Buick is. - not impressed

..

flypaper. So you feel the need to kick me down to a certain level, do you? I guess I've overstepped my bounds? Is that how you see it? Is that something you have gone through life doing to others? When did it start for you? Kindergarten, maybe? Some kid did better than you at some point in your life and you didn't like the pride he showed for a job well done, so you beat him up after school? Is that your style?

Owns a speed shop? And he's here on this thread to compare a car of that caliber to mine? Isn't that kinda like a high schooler picking on an elementary kid? Wow. The types of people that I bring out of the woodwork. Very interesting.

Now, if Kenny comes on here and starts trashing me, I'm really going to have to wonder what the heck is going on. But, I know Kenny is not that type of person.

Not looking to impress anyone, so that's perfect.

Are you bragging? Oh my.

Not bragging at all, just saying thanks. I do think those wheels are cool on a GN.

10 second club. Real hard to do these days.

It's a bit quicker, but nothing impressive for sure. If you were local I'd let you get next to it though. You'll notice I haven't made a thread about it being the baddest 3600# buick with a junkyard engine :)

Hmmm. Not the impression I've been getting.

You like to add that disclaimer a lot, but after awhile, that disclaimer just don't work anymore, bud.

Well, I apologize if I've accidentally impressed you :)

I know, I'm now waiting for a Top Fueler to chime in soon and bash your car lol...
