congrat to jack and brian cotton on some high 8 sec shakedown runs with only 20# boost seen on the data logger with my own eyes on a 90+ deg day at the valley , as always a great day at the cottons camp

Cool! I can't wait to see what it runs when they turn it up. Is this a TSO combination?

DA Pumpkin is back!!!!

wow!...I'm impressed!...

X2!!!! I wonder what his MPH, 660' and 60' was on that pass. 20#'s of boost is real impressive and NASTY to run high 8's. Crank it up a little or I'll "turn it down" and lets line-em up at Columbus in the 90 degree heat Jack!!!! ;)

Any video??

I spoke to Jack this morning and he said that he did brake on that particular run and still managed to break-out on his 9.15 dial with a 8.94 @ 151 mph!!...on the brakes!!.....Imagine how fast he would've run if he had kept his foot in it!...Probably somewhere around 8.70 !... I_M_P_R_E_S_S_I_V_E !! Jack is the man!

Claude. :)

If he posts up a pic of the timeslip with the incrementals we could tell you that;)

I am sure he is smart enough to do the math and i doubt he will post it up for my curiosity.
But brakes or no brakesit only ran what hte slip says,coulda,woulda,shoulda......
I am sure his car has alot more in it. Everyone always says it,only some turn it up and show us,
but we all know, turning it up that far and your playing with fire........

Way to go Jack! I remember when 20#s of boost was alot and now look where we are. Somehow making a good pass in a turbobuick makes everything else in life better. Now go turn it up! I would.:):)

Thanks Dave..... easy now....I know you would... we'll work on it. Checked out the timeslips last nite, looks like 24lbs of boost at the end got me a 8.94. Standing on the brakes, trying not to breakout probably didn't affect my ET much..From the previous timeslip, comparing the 1000ft numbers puts me at around an 8.90 .... I'll take that for now.. :) I'll work on getting it up to 30lbs :), just need to get some data. Didn't get a recording on that last run..... just know where the boost controller was set.

Glad to see you aint skeered to turn it up. I recommend throwing it on a Mustang dyno and tune it there. I did some pulls on one and found my tune was within 2% on the dyno vs. the track so with that said there is a worthwhile investment in the tuning department for you if you put yours on one.

You just have to beat 808RWHP at 31#'s and you got me beat!!! (On the dyno that is)

Hope to see it out at Columbus....
