Just curious...who here lives in/near Chicago? Just wondering how many TBs are around my area!:smile: I believe there is another GN in my town and I know that there is a GNX by me too! (Do not know the number though...300 something).

I'm in Libertyville. I wonder (since I am still green to all of this) if there are any "drives" or anything geared towards TBs in the summer around us.

If DIAZ 87 would put down his new buffer for 5 minutes, he would tell you every cruise/ car show in the midwest. He is always on top of that stuff.

Flossmoor...I'll have to look that up. Please spread the word to Diaz 87 that posting any info would be greatly appreciated! I live in the land of car dealerships....litterally. I think Libertyville is in the Guinness Book of World records for it. HOWEVER, the only dedicated carshow around is for Chevys. (North Suburban Corvette Club) Great show...won a few awards. Since I sold my cars for my GN...guess I can not attend that one anymore. There are two great car shows every month..but are not dedicated to anything. Thought it would be a blast to cruise with some of my new "family" or hang out at a Buick show. I saw a clip on YouTube of about 10 GNs driving together down the highway...that would be fantastic. I could only imagine seeing TBs taking over a road.

McHenry here. I get out to alot of local stuff as well. Welcome aboard. Make sure to check the Midwest section here. We do an annual get together. The last 3 years it has been held at Busse Woods, Volo, and Madison. We had 54 TB's at Busse and Volo.

There are so many of us here and every time we make a trip to Jimmy's transmission or Casper’s electronics we ride through Libertyville, RT 60 or Town line road.. They are both in Mundelein. I think the January Chicago chapter Buick meet was at Casper’s in Mundelein.

You should check the Midwest section here, most of the local guys hang out there too. You can do a search going back the past 5 years and look up Midwest meet and you will get an idea how many of us are really here in the Midwest.

We just had a meeting in Glenview last Saturday at a car detailer that showed us how to keep the black beauties looking good. Diaz 87 was there....
