2-step for stock ignition systems

how about a button on the steering wheel? My feet don`t always do what i want them to do ?

that would be pretty easy to do. Generally, steering wheel buttons have issues with how to wrap the cords so they don't tangle though.

Any idea when they will be ready to take orders on at least? And an idea of the price?

Maybe ready to order while the 10% off everything in the store? Wishful thinking, HUH...

Definately anxious here. Really great news !

Mike

its a little early to take any orders yet.

it should be ready in the April timeframe.

we are still verifying all the costs to produce it, but we are doing everything we can to keep it reasonable.

Bob

the cost should be well under the 250.00 point, we are trying to keep it as low as possible.

Bob

Thanks

Thanks for keeping the Buick technology moveing forward, greatly appreciated.:biggrin:I was talking with MSD today, they no longer make the module for our cars, and you cannot use the Dis4 without it.What ever is in the warehouses is all that remains. Thanks again Bob great timing:cool:

A little more of a challeng for us column shift guys, but I am game... Even more stealth.

Just think of those poor suckers that gets their tail whipped buy a stock appearing, bench seat having BUICK. I love it...

Mike

lol mount it on tha tranny so when thye gear selector on the colum is all the way down and the gear selector on tha tranny is moved all the way its got the button pushed.:cool:easy peasy

hey bob this limiter. does it work well enough to trigger and put your pedal flat on the floor? im just curious how the stock ignition handles this. i want to leave of the tbrake spraying nitrous and i want to already have it floored like my old drag car setup.

Very nice!! Does this go between the module and coil or just interupt the EST signal?

Pedal flat on the floor

this video is taken with the shifter in Park. Pedal flat on the floor.

You want to hit the N2O when you launch.

interrupting the EST de-synchronizes the ignition module. So we can't cut the ignition that way. We retard the timing by shifting the EST signal relative to the EST reference period.

For cutting the spark we use a different method.

Bob :)

Sounds great Bob. I am relieved to know your not just interupting the EST signal. I have seen too many problems with people trying that.

Yes, dropping EST pulses is a recipe for broken parts.....

You can tell by the video above that the control is very smooth.

yeah imma use a relay and wide open throttle switch so nitrous is armed and pedal is on tha floor so as soon as i let go of the tbrake button the relay drops to the normally closed pole a volia nitrous spraying as soon as the ignition comes back and wide open throttle is happening. man watching that video i cant wait to get one of these. it sounds funny being so smooth. nothing like the 3 step i used to spool my turbo vega. oooh how bout a 3 step for the pre stage on tha brake and then a tbrake final ramp at full stage lol. i know i know we are never happy :) really with the nitrous im gonna have it shut off at a certain boost level. i want it just incase i cant get spooled in time and for a little street fun.

Once you figure out what the cost of the unit will be are you going to offer a group purchase in advance for a reduced rate to get the project flowing?
