Unmolested. Just added my old alky kit and a RJC valve. Runs 18 psi no knock. Car was repainted by original dealer from gray to Porsche Red.

Car was in storage for 15 years at the originating dealer. Has almost 70K on the clock. Fully adjustable Koni's on all four corners (stock). Car handles like a dream. Everything else is completely as it was from Ford. Leir Seigler leather seats with hand pump bulbs for lumbar. Leather is in excellent condtion as it the interior as a whole (9 out of 10)

Stock 16" wheels are in a 11 out of 10 condition with Firestones that have about 95% left on them.
World class T-5 a nd clutch work perfectly. No leaks, no nuthin.

Rear bi-wing is solid as a rock, both spats are solid and in 10 out of 10 condition. Has an aftermarket radio, which means nothing to me as a sony walkman had better attributes than any 80's Ford radio.

Asking $8K - title in hand.

Willing to trade for a T or GN.

Why can I not post a pic?

Thanks TY.

It does not give me the option to add a pic. Maybe because I been away for soo long.

posting no pic here is the same as posting a pic at the ferrari site when you need to registar...so basically i cant see it still

Here ya go:wink:

Looks like a nice clean ride. These are truly under-valued and under-appreciated cars. Good luck with your sale

edit That's a compliment. I like SVO's, they're pretty cool little cars.

I've seen the car in person guys. It's a nice ride and very clean. If you want something a little different for a DD or a colector car that will suprise some one, this is it for sure.

Ty, if you wouldn't mind adding the pic from my other post to Dan's thread I'd appreciate it.

If I had the cash I would buy it to put up, rode in one years ago, I was impressed ! A good driver in a svo will shread a stock GT in the 1/8 mile , them little cars had GO to them. Daniel

You don't see many of those around here in this part of the US. Much rarer to see one than say an GN. Yours looks very nice and well kept. The only thing that might come into play into your sale would be the repaint to the non-original color (which you divulged) to a collector, purist type. I still say it will bring good money. Good luck!

I remember when they were new. It's funny how vintage it looks now. Very cool car. Good luck with the sale.

TTT for ya.

svo

I had a 1984 SVO. It still is one of my favorite cars. Great mileage and you will really surprise a lot of people with it. Also handles great. I believe the 1986 had like 205 or 210 hp. Very rare car.

Thanks guys. This isn't my first SVO. I got a great deal on it, so I could not let it go by.

The original color was 1E I believe, which is a silverstone gray. The repaint was done very well. So well in fact that they even removed the glass trim and painted that red. I got a quote for returning the bi-wing and other pieces back to charcoal black. I may do that before selling it. Not sure.
