Fox News is now confirming that he passed away....geeesh it's been a horrible week. Ed McMann, Farrah, Micheal and now Billy Mays

i have a theory that Billy Mays is the third in the "theory of 3"- you know, dead celebrities always come in 3's.

i agree it was a pretty good show! i liked how they explained how things actually got brought to market. i also liked the rivalry that he had with the other pitch guy.
his commercials were annoying though especially if you are up late at night and 3 stations have them going at once ALL NIGHT LONG!

I read that. Apparently the aiplane he was on this week made a hard landing causing Mr. annoying to hit his head on something. Assuming the rear of the seat in front of him.
Maybe he suffered a head injury that killed him in his sleep? Maybe a clot of some sort formed. Or maybe he simply had a heart attack from all the SCREAMING he has done all his life...
Unfortunate he passed in probably the prime of his career but I will not miss that dude at all.There was an actress who was skiing over the winter who suffered a head injury on the slopes and died several days later because she thought the injury was not too severe. It can happen I guess.

good year, no its not a good Month... all of this with in weeks of each other in the same month!! 2 more days to go. (not counting the ones we havent heard about yet:frown: sadd).
lets see also there were in this month Dave carradine- Bea Arthur (Golden Girls)-I dont know Sky Saxon also Natasha Richardson died earlier this year.

I'm betting that the 'scare' he got from that landing loosened arterial plaque and stopped his heart next morning.
My uncle dropped dead of a heart attack in 1996. The day before the plane he was on almost went down. That kind of scare gets the adrenaline pumping.
Just my theory. We'll see.
Yes it's confirmed Mr. Mays has passed on. They believe he might have suffered a cerebral hemmorage caused by the plane landing as he told his wife the night before his death, that he wasn't feeling well and retired to bed early for the evening.
I will agree he had a big mouth but I did actually enjoy his commercials. I especially enjoyed the "Billy Mays gangsta remix" someone made on youtube. It's actually pretty funny. I'll post the link to it later if no one else does.
Mr. Mays may have had an annoying loud voice, but I'd rather hear his voice than Gilbert Gotfried's gravely voice anyday of the week.
