Had the car in government storage for 17 months. They did start it up and move it once a week. Ever since I got it home it has been running crap.
I dont have my scan tool, but I have been using a voltmeter to set the TPS/IAC. The car will not stay running unless I give it gas. Has a weird shake to it and when I did get it running long enough to go down the road, I made it about three blocks and it cut out. It would start back up but would not stay running. I had to up the TPS to .50 to limp it home. Both before and after I adjusted the TPS it had no balls. The same feeling when you wipe a lobe. I have replaced the spark plugs with AC42s gaped at 33 and all the plug wires are in the right position. I have also cleaned the Air filter and set the fuel reg at 43 line off. I thought the problem was the ME that I was running, so I bought a new Turbo Tweak chip.

Any help would be great.

Kinda hard to "guess" without scantool data. You might have lost the MAF though.
Also sounds like a massive vacuum leak.

Your cam sensor may be loose, your IAC may be out of wack, the crank sensor may also be bad. list more of the symtoms and we may be able to figure it out. where in TX are you?

He's in Killeen.

I would unplug the maf and start it up. If it runs better (it will throw a SES light) that's probably your culprit.

Do you have fresh gas? I would also ck fuel pressure--@ idle & under boost. Could be fuel pump or FP Reg'r. Fuel filter? Of course you need remote FP gauge set-up you can "tape gauge to windshield"... "Bad" crank sensor usually results in no-start or mucho misfire under load...

Welcome back!

new crank sensor, A1000 fuel pump and external filter. I have not changed out the filter yet, so I will do that. Tank is getting low, so I can add some fuel, if I can get it to the gas station.

Well it had about a quarter tank of the 17 month old gas in it. (they did have stabilizer in it) I put enough in to bring it up to half tank recently, and added some fuel additive to clean everything. Now it is close to E again.

Direct Scan on the way. I will pull out the fuel filter tomorrow and give it a good cleaning...

I unpluged the mass air and started it up. It ran much better for a minute, then the SEL came on and it died out.

OK still haven't receive my DS yet. I got the new Mass Air on today. Will post later with the results.

The car will now stay running and it seems like it has some power at idel now. There is still a pretty rough shake that is annoying inside. Here is a little video. There is also pretty good smoke when I give it gas and a little at idle. Also I cant seem to lower the idle lower than 1100 with backing the idle air screw all the way out.
