the other day my insurance company called to ask about a parking accident i was envolved in back in february. funny thing is the accident was in a city about an hour from here and my car has never been within 40 miles of there. maybe im paranoid but that tells me someone saw the car around here and reported me so they could get my info, find where the car sleeps and try to take it from me. so my question isnt about alarms, i was just wondering who has to pay to clean the blood and brain matter out of my interior when i catch (Edited by Lee Burough) [a thief] in my car?

Ask the insurance company to see a copy of police report and take from there. If there was a police report taken, the registered owner of the vehicle that left the scene would have received a few summons in the mail.

I would get a Kirbans kill switch and never let the car out of your sight unless you are at a car show. Somebody is casing you. Lock your car up at night in the garage and turn the wheels either all left or all riight. If the thief has a tow truck and uses soap he will get your car. Good luck- Brad

Why would you kill your mechanic????
Or maintenance man????
**** throw in all the stereotypes!!! I know how much latinos have an affinity towards these cars and stealing, and the likely hood of a Smith robbing the car would be next to none, Damn Hernandez's!!!
They are just so keen to the value of these rare cars and the worthwhile effort it takes to call the insurance, find out where you live, and then take your car.
I feel for you brother, they are out to get you!!!

lol!

I think it was Pedro the Landscaper who is possibly eyeballing your car!

Also, is Smith a whiteguy? I knew a blackguy with the last name of Smith a while back in the Navy, so be careful....

NO, not Pedro, he's does so well with the gardenia's!! LOL

As for whether Smith is black or white, the race of Smith is irrelevant.

The point is, while this guy is giving the evil eye to Pedro as he trims the gardenias, Mr Smith the "insurance agent" is driving away with his car. (Now that is a plot!!!)

Suspect everyone, trust no one!!!

Asking 'who pays for cleaning the blood' is not tech....I'm moving this thread to the Lounge.

Racially loaded words are NEVER appropriatae on TB.com....I edited them :notcool:

I will assess infraction points on the next offense.

I hope you are wrong about a plot to steal your car. Do some prevention (kill switch, steering wheel, alarm, not violence) now and it will pay off.

:)
