I was back home in NC this weekend and talked with my buddies out there. Richard Clark has agreed to let us use his dyno for a weekend to dyno our cars to who ever wants to come out. Free of charge. The only stipulation I have is who ever comes out, we all chip in and pay Gene for his time to run the dyno because he will be giving up his weekend for us. We are thinking about march, and havn't really decided on a specific weekend yet, I was just going to see who, and how many would be interested. If your interested you can reach me here or at 4dgg@comcast.net or on my cell
615-456-5646.

HECK YES I IN!

I have been dying to meet Mr. Clark since I was 14 and saw the SPEARKER WORKS BUICK!

Please let me know!

His new shop is located between Greensboro and Raleigh NC one turn off of hwy 62 in burlington. Its about a 15 min. drive off of interstate 40/85. If anyone has a weekend in march that is totaly out of the question please let me know and we will try to accomodate the majority of all. thanks

Man...would you let a noob like me come out there? I'm making a business trip next spirng to see my east coast customers...I'll be at the Thomas Bus plant (basically right there).
Do I have to bring my GN or can I come spectate?
I'd love to see Clark's car.

Don't think anyone would mind a spectator. Thomas Bus is about 30-40 min. away. You can hold the video camera for me if my arm gets tired or if my car is strapped down :D

OK, so far it looks like a total of 4 cars and a camera holder right now. Right?

I plan on being there. I only live 20 minutes away and spend a good amount of time at Richard's anyway. :)

Oh boy, would you guys let a new NC resident join in. I will be moved into my house in Clayton by Jan 2nd. That gives me plenty of time to up the injectors and throw on some suspension work. :D

What happend to the dyno day? I am ready to do this. I really would enjoy getting a chance to meet Mr. Clark!

Maybe you can stop by Woodbrdge,Va and give some tips to modify my
turbo school bus hehe:D

I'm getting in touch with Richard to see if all is a go. They were trying to get some concrete poured at the shop and that could be the only hold up if any.
to be continued..........

I just talked with Richard and hopefully the concrete pad will be poured this weekend.

We moved the dyno from its original building and into the new building. Problem now is that it is a mud hole between the two buildings when it rains and we can't track all the mud onto the dyno. The concrete pad needs to be completed between the two buildings before the dyno can be used.
