I'm starting from the bottom with my XFI. I don't have any aspirations of being a "Qualified" tuner but I don't want to be the guy who doesn't dare make a change to his own program.
My car runs now and has a program in it. It has been perfected once or twice but still leaves a ton of driveability to be desired. IE, Temperature changes, after start fuel, Off idle miss and lack of bottom end/mid power due to 3200 stall converter.
I am installing the 2.0 upgrade self learn with hopes that it cleans up the program as a whole and than I can play with a few things. I mainly want to know how to control the timing (spark) table and than the Air/fuel table. Right now it appears that the timing is only at 18 or so degrees which I think is low? However I don't know where on the left side scale ( MAP KPA) is where the car is at half/full throttle?
Is there anywhere I can go to read basic beginner articles or readings? MAybe you have links saved that give good information on this stuff. I am looking at CPGnation which seems cool but it's more un relavant posts specific to other peoples questions.
