thinking about going to 4 bolt headers. will i then be able to swap turbo from my typhoon to the buick. thanks

Unfortunately no.
The Sy Ty's came factory with a Mitsubishi style turbo, which was very specific and only used on the Syclone Typhoon 4.3L turbo application. The 4 bolt inlet flange on your factory headers, is not the same as the T4 flange used on most aftermarket Turbo Buick headers.

Technically, you could change the inlet flange, but you would also need to have a new downpipe made for the T4 turbine housing discharge. As well as install an external wastegate.
So yes, that could be done and you'd be able to install pretty much any normal sized T4 style turbo.
