Thanks For Any Help,

Seneca Lafler,

Use only GM supercharger oil: GM Part No. 1234-5982. You should be able to get it online for about $4 - $6 for a 4 oz. bottle (a few more $$$ from a GM dealer). Not sure how much oil the superchargers in the Series I 3800's take, but my 2000 GTP's Series II takes about 8 oz. Make sure to drain any old oil out (you can use a siphon or just a thin piece of rubber tubing to suck it out). Again, not sure about the Series I but on the Series II, we normally re-fill it with new oil just up to the bottom of the threads on the plug hole.

You might want to check out the forums at www.clubgp.com if you need any other information. Mostly a site for Series II Grand Prix and Regal owners but a few Series I guys hang out there too.

Good luck!
