turn stalk installation

I attempted to install a new turn stalk this evening. Tied a fishing line to the wire and pulled it up through the column. Unfortunately, the line broke. How does one push the wire on the new stalk back through inside the column. I'm stumped. Would prefer not to leave the wire external to the column.

I would try fishing a single conductor 20 gauge or single solid copper buss wire down the column first and use it as a pull line.

Yup, time to go fishing, hard to do the whole new wire without a pull line.

It took some patience, but was able to push a 22 gauge solid wire up from the bottom through the column. Pulled the wire to the new stalk down through and everything looks good. Thanks salvageV6.
