Tranny crossmember?

Is the Tranny crossmember and pads for our cars the same as a regular Regal or other G bodies? Need to know soon as my tranny is being pulled out as I write this and it was totally rotted away! Tranny will have to be rebuilt or repaired. Not a good weekend.

the crossmembers from the monte carlos will work although they are different ...the monte carlos have a center bracket for the tranny mount ...the regals have an offset bracket (although the tranny is center mounted....why buick did this...who knows?) for the tranny mount.... if you use the monte carlo one you wont have to use the offset to center adapter ....so you can just use a regular gm tranny mount..... and it will work just fine

so if none of what i said makes sense.....yes you can use other g-body crossmembers
