Howdy,

I have decided I don't want press in freeze plugs in the front of my oil galleries any more so I need to tap and thread them. What size tap and plugs do I use? I seam to remember a mention of Ford 351 Cleaveland gallery plugs but don't have the details.

I also need to plug the oil feed hole in the block simularly for a Duttweiler style oiling system routing, is 1/4 NPT the right thing to use there?

Thanks,

I use these from TA Performance...nice thing is that one is machined thinner so it doesn't block any of the oil passage...just make sure you don't tap that hole too deep...just enough so that the end of the plug is flush with the block...
