Some parts, IMO, you should only buy new. *Soft parts* are one of them, who knows what the history might be on them. Were they crushed, pinched or some how the inner linings, evenly innocently hurt?.

Brakes, IMO, are never to be taken lightly.

Don't mean to seem to be preaching, but losing the brakes in a vehicle can be dangerous, if not fatal.
