Emissions testing Directscan data averaged over steady state part of tests sans cat. Looks like with alky, NOx went up and mixture was slightly leaner but HC and CO went down slightly. Appears quite a bit more alky would be needed for any significant reduction in emissions.

The readings are too close to each other. To see if Alky has made a difference, compare the CO2 and O2 readings. O2 can be used to determine lean and CO2 is used for combustion efficiency.

I'm not totally sure what you mean by The readings are too close to each other as after adding the alky the car was driven on the rollers for 5 mins to let the fuel system circulate and blend the alky before the 2nd set of tests were run. Thanks for the o2 and co info.
